Word on the street is that Apple has something brewing.

Have you noticed that the music video section of iTunes is scarcely being updated? I have. Everytime I go to the page I encounter the funny face of Jermaine Dupri looking down on me. What's up with this? AOLMusic and mtv.com suck for Apple users, leaving them unable to experience their favorite pop music videos. iTunes used to be my salvation...until they stopped these updates. WHY, WHY, WHY?????

The answer is not too far away. Apparently, the video section of the music store is going to be reinvented in the near future...allowing usage of the new iPod Video. Right now...it's just a rumor, but the new iPod Video could be out as soon as next week.

The iPod Video will be similar to the 60GB iPod, but thinner. The click wheel will be smaller (similar to the iPod Nano), leaving room for a higher-resolution color display longer than previous generations of iPods.
